Snack List and Ideas

Please take a look at our helpful list for some ideas around what to pack for your child’s nutritious and yummy snack at preschool.

Play-Doh Recipe

Throughout the year we engage our parent volunteers to help us refresh our in-class supplies. One of the parent-volunteer duties is to cook up a homemade batch of Play-Doh. Please note this recipe makes enough for 4-6 kids. If you are a parent volunteer assigned this task, please confirm with the teacher any expense policy for supplies, and how many children you will need to prepare Play-Doh for.

Boot Room Policy

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we are currently asking that all parents remain outdoors at this time. Children will be dropped off at the exterior doors and teachers as well as designated parent volunteers will assist the children with their shoes and coats, before they are then brought into the classroom by teachers. If you would like to sign up to be a boot room volunteer, please check your emails for the link to the sign-up genius email that would have gone out at the beginning of the year. If you cannot find the original email, please reach out to for a link! Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to keep our children and teachers healthy and happy throughout these times.

Cleaning Policy

As a requirement of registration, every parent (or parent representative) is required to complete two cleaning sessions to support the continued health and wellness of our children through sanitizing the equipment and toys in our space.

Upon registering you will receive a link via email to a sign-up genius form, at which point you can pick your cleaning shifts according to your availability. When you arrive at your assigned shift, it is very important that you check in and confirm your attendance on the sign-in sheet that is provided inside the classroom. This way we will be able to affirm your participation and return your cleaning deposit at the end of the school year.

Thank you for your help in keeping our classroom the healthiest and happiest place possible for our children.

Seesaw In-Class Photo and Activity App

Due to the limited visitation and building access caused by the Covid-19 restrictions, Willow Park Preschool has decided on the use of a mobile application called Seesaw, which is used to take photos of the children throughout their daily activities in the classroom.

Upon registration, you will be provided with a permission form to allow the teachers to take photos of your child inside the class. The form provides additional details surrounding privacy, end-of-year deletion of content, and who is allowed to take photos inside the classroom. You can download your form here and return it electronically to, or sign it and give it to the teachers in-person. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at any point.
